Agnes M. Daly, 87, of Sioux City died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at Harvest Westside Nursing and

Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Akron, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

She was born Agnes M. Claeys on July 12, 1911, in Hawarden, Iowa. She was the daughter of Arthur J. and Josephine B. (Agnes) Claeys. She attended the St. Joseph School for Nursing. She was a resident of Casper, Wyo., for several years, moving to Sioux City in 1957. She married Bernard L. "Bud" Daly on May 20, 1940, in Casper. She was a registered nurse at St. Vincent's Hospital for many years, until retiring in 1976.

She was a member of Cathedral of the Epiphany.

Survivors include: a daughter, Martha M. "Marty" Lacy of Sioux City; two sons, O. Larry Daly of Sacremento, Calif., and Pat J. and Linda Daly of Virginia Beach, Va.; one brother Arthur Claeys of Sioux City; one sister, Madeline Gering and her husband, Nolan, of Lawrence, Kan.; one sister-in-law, Janet Claeys of Grand Prairie, Texas.; six grandchildren, Tim, Bill and Lisa Daly; Rich and Mark Lacy; Kim Coy and Matt Lacy; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her husband who died in 1957 in Casper; two brothers, Al and Bob Claeys, and one son-in-law, Richard Lacy.

Pallbearers include: Larry and Pat Daly; Rick, Mark and Matt Lacy and Don Claeys
