Evelyn Shriner Evelyn "Red" (Kinney) Shriner, 75, of Lincoln, Neb., formerly of Sioux City, died Friday, Oct. 29, 1999, in Lincoln

Services are pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Butherus-Maser-Love Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mrs. Shriner was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Danbury, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Grace (Sexton) Kinney. She moved with her family to Sioux City and graduated from Central High School in 1942. She graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing in 1946.

She married Don H. Shriner on Sept. 25, 1946, in Sioux City. The couple made their home in Lincoln, where she was employed as an O.B. nurse with Bryan Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters and their husbands, Jody and Daryl Klute of Lincoln, Lynn and Steve Kosman of Pittsburg, Kan., Carol and Dick Carroll of Overland Park, Kan., and Pat and Rich Root of Lincoln; two sons and their wives, Andy and Belinda of Tampa, Fla., and Mike and Janet of Denver, Colo.; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Anna Marie Wilson of Aberdeen, S.D., Lois Hansen of Sioux City and Dorothea Roskam of Edina, Minn.; and two brothers, Franklin Kinney of Fort Collins, Colo., and Bob Kinney of Deadwood, S.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jean Peterson and Sister Mary Francis Sexton; and a brother, George Kinney.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be determined at a later, 2735 O'Reilly Dr., Lincoln, Neb. 68502
