SIOUX CITY | Charles L. "Chuck" Moran, 70, of Rainbow, Miss., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at Rush Hospital.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian, Miss., with Dr. Gary Blair officiating. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in MS Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Moran was from Sioux City and resided in Rainbow Lakes. He was retired from the United States Navy as senior chief.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Sanders Moran; stepson, Mark Sanders (Cynthia); daughter, Kimberly M. Presley (Mark); son, Lawrence Moran (Crissielee); daughter, Amanda Moran; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mary Moran; siblings, Veronica Moran, Charlotte Nolan, Genevieve Hoth and Lucielle Edgar; son, Michael Charles Moran; stepdaughter, Kim Sanders Sanchez; daughter, Tamara Moran Bubbenmoyer; and grandson, Owen Todd.
