The body of Mrs. Barbara Haffner, 83, who died Saturday night in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clara Goldsberry, 1 West Sixteenth, will be sent to Sumner, Ia., from Samuel's funeral home, Tuesday for burial.

Mrs. Haffner was born in Germany, September 17, 1858. She came to the United States as a child and
lived for several years near Sumner. She came to Sioux City five years ago.

Surviving her are four sons, Roy Haffner and Harry Haffner of Sumner, George Haffner of Dunkerton, Ia., and Herbert Haffner of Waterloo, Ia., and two daughters Mrs.Goldsberry and Mrs. Nara Davis of Los Angeles, Cal.
