16 April 1936Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Heldt, 79, who died Wednesday in her home at 2634 South Palmetto street following a sickness of 10 days, will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon in the Memorial funeral chapel. Rev. 0. M. Keve and Rev. H. G. Dawes will officiate.
The body will be sent to Keystone, Ia., for burial and additional services will be held there Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. Heldt was born September 22, 1856, in Germahy, and came to the United States at the age of 9 years. Before coming to Sioux City in 1914 she lived in Davenport and Benton county.
Surviving her are a daughter, Miss Hulda Heldt of Sioux City; a son, Dr. Thomas Heldt of Detroit, and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Peterson of Fergus Falls, Minn.
