WIDOW JOINS MATE IN DEATH
Mrs. W. C. Johnson Succumbs—Husband Died March 19
Mrs. William C. Johnson, 71, 1200 Virginia street, widow of William C. Johnson, prominent Sioux City cafe operator who died March 19 in San Antonio, Tex., joined her husband in death Monday morning. Mrs.Johnson had been in poor health for some time.
Born in Vreten, Sweden, February 13, 1865, Mrs. Johnson came to the United States when she was 15 years old. She lived in Minneapolis for 18 years and moved to Sioux City in 1898.
On June 24, 1902, she became the wife of Mr. Johnson.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Lucille Johnson of Bemidji, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Hilda C. Johnson of Sioux City and Mrs. Hulda Lunner of Sweden, and a brother, Thomas Lindstam of Sweden.
The body is at the Nelson-Berger funeral parlors pending funeral arrangements
