Betty L. (Skaff) Weeks, 58, 3811 Glen Oaks Blvd., died unexpectedly Monday, July 25, 1988, at her residence.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Thomas Orthodox Church with the Rev. Constantine Balomenos, pastor of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church officiating. Burial will be in the Syrian section of Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 9 p.m. today with the Trisagion service at 7:30 p.m. in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Weeks, the former Betty L. Skaff, was born July 3, 1930, in Sioux City and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Central High School in 1948 and Morningside College in 1952 with a BA Degree. She married Samey L. Axelsen Aug. 31, 1975, in Sioux City. He died Sept. 3, 1982, in Sioux City. She was the owner of Youngtown from 1974 to 1979. Since 1985 she had owned and operated Professional Presort Associates.

Mrs. Weeks was a member of St. Thomas Orthodox Church and a former member of American Business Women's Association.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Larry(Patricia) Bliven of Sioux City; a brother of Omaha and a sister of Sioux City; a grandson; a step-granddaughter, three nephews and a niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferris J. and Elizabeth (Headid) Skaff.
