Funeral Services Held For Ronda Brownmiller
Funeral services for Ronda Rae Brownmiller, 19, of Jefferson, South Dakota, were held Friday, May 29, 1981 at 2:00 p.m. in the Open Bible Church at Holly Springs. The Rev. LeRoy R. Struble officiated. Interment was in Willow Township Cemetery, Holly Springs, under the direction of the McCulloch Funeral Home of Moville.
Mrs. Gene Hanner, vocalist, sang "In The Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Miss Hulda Weber was organist.
Casket-bearers were Messrs. Donald Bristol, Walter Neff, Calvin Nelson Sr., Rex Nelson, Robert Nelson and Lyle Steely.
Miss Brownmiller was born January 29, 1962, at Sioux City. She attended Westwood Community School. She lived at Holly Springs and had resided in Jefferson the last two years. She was a certified child caretaker, licensed by the state of South Dakota.
She attended the Church of the Open Bible at Holly Springs.
Miss Brownmiller was killed Wednesday, May 27, 1981 in an automobile accident in Union County, South Dakota.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Richard (Myrtle Elenore Crawford) Brownmiller of Bronson; five sisters, Mrs. Rick (Beverly) Lloyd, Peggy, Paula. and Melissa, all of Bronson, and Pamela of Paullina; a half sister, Mrs. Ron (Carol) Maranell of Paullina; one brother, Richard of Bronson; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Elmo (Lena) Brownmiller of Marcus and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Robert (Louise) Samuelson of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her father and both grandfathers.
