CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa — Ralph Sadler, 76, of Correctionville died Thursday, Oct. 6, 1988, in a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the United Methodist Church in Rock Branch. The Rev. Joseph and the Rev. Christina DowlingSoka will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in Barker Funeral Home in Correctionville.

Mr. Sadler was born Oct. 27, 1911, on a farm south of Rock Branch where he resided and farmed all his life. On June 30, 1936, he married Theodora Waldo at Hornick. He was an avid fiddler and entertained at many group functions.

Mr. Sadler was a member of the United Methodist Church at Rock Branch.

Survivors include his wife, Theodora; his children, Wayne and Debbie Sadler of Correctionville; Warren Conner of Omaha; Theola and Ron Peck of Beemer, Neb.; Jelane and Wayne L. Stanley of South Sioux City; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Lauri, and Sheri Conner; Ronda, Nancy, and Ted Peck; Stacy, Barbie, and Rolland Stanley; Jasyn, Jerisa, Derek, Devon and Juliana Sadler.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Doris Conner, his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
