15 April 1946Charles Albert Milligan, 60, Carroll apartments, died Sunday evening in a hospital after a three-week illness.
He had been an employee of the Milwaukee Railroad for 40 years, holding the position of freight Conductors at the time of his death.
He was born March 10, 1886 at Dale, Iowa. He was a member of the order of Railroad Conductors.
Survivors are the widow, Edna of Sioux City; three sons, Clayton H. of Tacoma, Wash.; Russell M. of Yakima, Wash., and Lt. Robert L. of Oak Harbor, Wash.; a daughter, Joyce of Ellenburg, Wash.; five sisters, Mrs. Millie Saunders, Mrs. Dolly Schram and Mrs. Lola Morgan, all of Manila, Ia.; Mrs. Libby Osborne of Mason City, and Mrs. Sadie Miller of Faith, S. D., and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Westcott-Doughty-Chandler funeral home, with Rev. George W. Dunn officiating. The body will be sent to Tacoma, Wash., for burial
