30 March 1946Mrs. Rose Ann Hall, 67, 106 Stellart apartments, died Friday night in a hospital after a long illness. For the last year she had resided here with a daughter, Clara Luther, assistant director of recreation in public schools.
She was born July 6, 1878, in Alexandria, Va. Her husband, Clarence, died in 1933. Before coming here she resided in Madrid, Ia.
Mrs. Hall was a member of the Women's Relief corps and the First Christian church in Madrid.
Besides the daughter, she is survived by a son, J. R. Luther of Milan, Ill., seven brothers, Arthur and Bush Heflin, both of Galva, Ill., Frank, Charles and James, of Woodhill, Ill., Jacob of Palm Springs, Fla., and George of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Johnson of Rock Island, Ill., and Mrs. Phoebe Stickel of Moline, Ill., and one grandchild.
The body will be sent at 4 p. m. Sunday from the Nelson-Berger chapel to Rock Island for funeral services and interment.
