Damen Troy and Orion Trey Fierro, 17 1/2-month-old twin sons of Michael and Mindy Fierro of Sioux City, died at a Sioux City hospital. Orion passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, and Damen passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2003.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Keith Byers, lay minister with Correctionville (Iowa) Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Damen and Orion were born July 1, 2002, in Sioux City.

They are survived by their parents; a sister, Lauren Michelle Fierro at home; maternal grandparents, Dan and Mickey Goosmann of Sioux City; paternal grandparents, Jose and Nancy Fierro of Sioux City; maternal great-grandparents, Joyce Goosmann of Sioux City, and Leonard and Lila Miller of Taylor, Texas; aunts and uncles, Joel Goosmann, Sara and Phillip Florke, Jose Fierro Jr., Francisco Fierro, Becky Hintz, Scott Hintz and Steven Fierro; and two cousins, Joel Florke and Amanda Fierro.

They were preceded in death by their maternal great-grandfathers, Kenneth Goosmann and Clifford E. Smith; and paternal great-grandparents, Julian Fierro and Paula Fierro and Rudy Wolfe and Ila Wolfe.

Pallbearers will be Steven Fierro, Scott Hintz, Paco Fierro, Phillip Florke, Matthew Barker, Jay Semple, Herb Bangford and Joe Grimes
