Wilma L. Coulson, 72, of Sioux City died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital following an extended illness.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. James Pointer, pastor of Sioux City Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Wilma L. Coulson was born Jan. 22, 1931, in Woodbury County, Iowa, the daughter of Grant and Nellie (Campbell) Metcalf. She attended Westmar College and taught country school before her marriage to Kenneth Coulson on June 23, 1950, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a longtime Sioux City resident and was active in the family business.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth of Sioux City; two sons, Richard Terry Coulson and his wife, Ruth of Derby, Kan., and Randy Coulson and his wife, Diana of Sioux City; a daughter, Judy Coulson-Berkley and her husband, Patrick of Hendersonville, N.C.; two brothers, Keith Metcalf of Sioux City, and Grant Metcalf of South San Francisco, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Ila.

Pallbearers will be Benjamin, Abraham, Alexander, Andrew, Jeremiah and Jeffrey Coulson.
