Dorothy M. Cook, 85, of Sioux City died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln, Neb. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Dorothy Cook was born May 14, 1918, to Ollie B. and Christine Jensen in Hooper, Neb. She came to Sioux City in 1929 as a child.

She was united in marriage to Glenn Fritch on Sept. 4, 1936. She later married Frank Cook in Lincoln, on Oct. 6, 1973. He passed away in 1988.

Dorothy was a member of Eagles Auxiliary 147 and 4111 in Lincoln for 39 years.

Survivors include three children and their spouses, Glenda and Mike Ford and Donna and Larry Fuller, all of Sioux City, and Lonne and Marcia Fritch of Mitchellville, Iowa; two brothers and their spouses, Verle "Stash" and Marilyn Jensen of Sioux City, and Bob and Marcella Dalton of El Reno, Okla.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four stepchildren; several step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Louise Nicolls.

Memorials may be given in Dorothy's name to the donor's choice.
