9 April 2014SIOUX CITY | Deborah Sue Jones, 59, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
Abiding by her wishes, the body was cremated. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Graceland Park Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Deborah was born on Dec. 19, 1954, to Robert and Gladys (Hedberg) Jones, in Sioux City. She graduated from West High School. She worked at the Argosy Casino in the finance department.
She enjoyed reading, listening to music, animals, collecting figurines, and Boyd's Bears. She also loved being with her family and the company of her nephews and nieces.
She is survived by her four siblings, Linda Jones and significant other, Joseph Schneiders of Sioux Falls, S.D., Sue Berens of St. Paul, Minn., Ronald (Anita) Jones of Zephyrhills, Fla. and Lori Miller and significant other, Tony Rogers of Sioux City; four nieces and nephews, LaShawna (Anthony) Moyle, Michael Miller, Reid (Ashley) Berens, and Kelsey Berens; and a grandnephew and niece, Jared and Bella.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gladys.
