Clifford De Haan, 76, of Sioux City died Wednesday, August 6, 1997, at Veteran's Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Services, visitation and burial were Friday. Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. De Haan was born March 21, 1921, in Harrison, S.D. the son of Isaac and Cora De Haan. He was raised in Corsica, S.D. and graduated from Corsica High School.

He married Jean Pensato in Chicago. She died in 1995.

He was employed at Rosenthal and Sons, unloading trucks. He was a member of St.Casimir Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served in the United States Army from 1942 to 1945 in Belgium, Holland, Germany, England and France.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda De Haan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lawrence.
