Cushing, Iowa- W.L. "Red" Clark, 80,of Cushing died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at a Sioux City hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Anthon, Iowa under the direction
of Becker-Hunt Funeral Home of South Sioux, City. The body was cremated and there will be no visitation.Mr. Clark was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Anthon, the son of Washington L. and Linda Clark. He graduated from Anthon High School.
He married Catherine "Kay' Surber on Dec. 28, 1951, in Sioux City.
He was employed with the water department of Spirit Lake, Iowa, retiring in 1983. The couple moved to Cushing in 1990.
He was a Methodist and an avid gardener and loved sports.
Survivors include his wife; a brother, Dean M. Clark of Sioux City; and many niece and nephews.
