Earle H. Frazier 1917 - 2000

Earle H. Frazier, 83, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Aug. I, 2000, in Sioux City following a lengthy illness.

Private family services will be held, with the Rev. Roger D. Graf officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.

Mr. Frazier was born July 11, 1917, in Sioux City, the son of Harvey and Pauline Marie (Halvorson) Frazier. He graduated from Central High School in 1936.

He married Opal Jensen on Aug. 15, 1942, in Sioux City. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1945.

He was employed with Sioux Bee Honey and retired from the Job Service of Iowa in 1980.

He was a member of Morningside Presbyterian Church and enjoyed music, drawing, fishing and dancing.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter and her husband, Diane and Frank Gruber of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
