SIOUX CITY -- Gerald E. "Jerry" Clark, 66, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at his residence with his family at his side.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., with a flag presentation by the U.S. Navy, at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff. Per his wishes, his body will be cremated after the services.

Jerry was born June 24, 1943, in Sioux City, the son of Harvey and Freda (June) Clark. He graduated from Central High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy.

On Jan. 23, 1993, he was united in marriage to Donna L. Dailey. Jerry worked for the railroad from 1966 to 1976, then Charlie Zook in Sioux City until 1988. They moved to Des Moines, where he worked for Wilson Railway and, in 1993, he worked for Herman M Brown Construction until 2002, when his health began to fail. They moved to Sioux City in 2006.

Jerry is survived by his sons, Gerald Clark Jr. of Sioux City and Nicholas Feilen and his wife, Sabrina of Sweet Lake, La.; his daughters, Cynthia Clark of Portland, Ore., Tabbi and her husband, John Urquidi of Sioux City, and Deborah and her husband, Chad Tollerud of Ankeny, Iowa; his grandchildren, Andrew, Kodi and Dylan Urquidi, Joe, Waylan, Logan and Raven Clark, Joshua Tollerud, Madison, Carla, Bianca and Caleb Feilen; his two dogs, Dolly and Precious, and his cousins, Larry and Diane Clark of Merrill, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Donna on Dec. 7, 2008.
