DANBURY, Iowa -- Stephanie Heinse, 18, of Danbury died on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, from injuries suffered in an automobile crash.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Anthon, Iowa, with Pastor Scott Fiege officiating. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., all at AOMV Middle School in Anthon. Arrangements are under the direction of Armstrong Funeral Service of Anthon.

Stephanie Heinse was born on Oct. 3, 1989, in Sioux City, to Kurt and Sue Ann (McCrady) Heinse of rural Danbury. She attended Anthon-Oto School for her early education and was to graduate this spring from MVAO High School with the class of 2008. Her plans were to attend Western Iowa Tech in the dental hygienist program.

Stephanie loved life, and she lived it to her fullest. Everyone she came in contact with was touched by her and her wonderful smile that brightened the room. She enjoyed music, shopping, the color pink and was a big fan of Hello Kitty and Hannah Montana. She was active in sports including basketball, track, volleyball and the drill team. Stephanie loved her family and friends and was the closest to her brother, Ethan.

Stephanie will always be remembered by her parents, Kurt and Sue Ann; her brother, Ethan, at home; her grandparents, Ed and Lucille Heinse of Anthon and Howard and Irene McCrady of Fort Dodge, Iowa; several aunts, uncles and cousins; her boyfriend, Colt Baldwin; and many good friends.
