PIERSON, Iowa — Clarence D. Seehusen, 66, of Pierson died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christian Church in Pierson, with the Rev. Les Larson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, with military rites conducted by American Legion Harrison Pedersen Post 291 of Pierson. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Earnest-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa.

Mr. Seehusen was born Sept. 12, 1932 in Carthage, S.D., the son of Fred and Bertha (Reil) Seehusen. He was raised in the Danube, Minn. area where he graduated from high school. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955. Following his discharge, he was employed with Coca-Cola Enterprises, until retiring in 1992.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; a son, Brad of Westminister, Colo.; four daughters, Vicky Seehusen of Lakewood, Colo., Cathy Marsaglis of Crete, Neb., Lori Stanton of Thornton, Colo., and Bonnie Seehusen of Golden, Colo.; two step-daughters, Cindy McBride of Kingsley and Melissa Wajcik of Smithland, Iowa; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a great-grandson; three brothers, Earl of Danube, Donald of San Antonio, Texas, and Roy of Pierson; and four sisters, Evelyn Wolff of Phoenix. Ariz., Dorothy Snediker of Carthage. S.D., Gloria Mattson of Danube and Ardene Langfield, of Rosemont, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
