SIOUX CITY -- Eva-Jeanne M. Dymersky, 80, beloved wife of Alfred Dymersky and beloved mother of Michael, Monica and Marlena, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, when she passed away peacefully after suffering a second heart attack.

Eva-Jeanne was born to Olga and Wayne Allen on June 21, 1931, in Billings, Mont. She accepted the Lord into her heart in her 40s and reaffirmed her belief in her Savior daily. She loved to read her Bible and to spend time with her family, grandchildren, and friends.

Eva-Jeanne graduated from Billings Senior High and went on to sing opera for several years before marrying Alfred Dymersky and starting a family.

Much of her life was spent in Billings, where they enjoyed spending time in the mountains near Red Lodge, Mont. They moved to Sioux City to be closer to family in 2009.

The family would like to thank God and rescue workers who revived her after her first heart attack Wednesday night and allowed her a few more wonderful days to spend with her family. The family would also like to thank all the wonderful nurses and doctors at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center (ER, ICU, and fifth floor) who cared for her during those final days. Your jobs are not easy, but you do them with kindness and compassion.

Eva-Jeanne and her family would like to thank those who have had a part in making her life easier during these last few years: Chiropractors -- Dr. Campbell and Dr Chartier and their staffs, Dr. Andrawis and his staff, her friends, Carolyn Anderson, Glenda and Warren Lord-Wright, postman Michael Gill, and everyone at East End Beauty Shop. We are truly grateful for all these wonderful people.

Eva-Jeanne leaves behind a loving husband, Alfred Dymersky; three children, Michael Dymersky, Monica Morey and her husband Mike Morey, and Marlena Longworth; seven grandchildren, Alex Dymersky, Daniell Longworth, Sebastian Longworth, Michael Iwen, Sean Morey, MaKayla Morey, Justin Morey; and one great-grandchild.

Welcoming her to heaven and preceding her in death were her parents, Wayne and Olga Allen, and her grandson Tyler Morey.

The loving family and friends of Eva-Jeanne will miss her sweet smile and her kind and gentle ways. We look forward to being reunited with her in Glory.
