Patsy O. Tresham, formerly of Hornick, Iowa, died at her home in Sioux City, Iowa, on January 19, 1987. Death came at the age of 73 years four months and 13 days.

She was born on September 6, 1913, at Poplar Bluff, Mo. She married Maurice Tresham October 19, 1935, at Hornick. The couple farmed near Hornick. Mr. Tresham died in April 1962. She had been a clerk at Younkers and had worked at the Onawa Dairy Queen. She moved to Sioux City in 1965 and was employed with Iowa Beef Processors until retiring in 1969.

She was a former member of the Hornick United Methodist Church, Athena Lodge Chapter 460 Order of Eastern Star, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 77.

Survivors include a son, Lloyd of Hornick and a granddaughter, Sue Ann.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Floyd and a brother, George Webb.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 1987, at the United Methodist Church at Hornick with Rev. Gary DeGeest officiating. Mrs. Leal Steinhoff, the organist, played "How Great Thou Art" and "The Old Rugged Cross".

Bearers were Merle Carr, John Vermilyea, Larry Olson, Bob Dietrich, Bill Eichhorn and Joe Miller.

Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sioux City with arrangements by the Wood Funeral Home, Sloan, Iowa.
