SIOUX CITY --Donald G. Bradbury Sr., 77, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, Iowa.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the U.S. Navy. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Don was born July 24, 1932, in Sioux City, the son of Robert Sr. and Sylvia (Cook) Bradbury. Don enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War. He was a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service until retiring in 1994 after 30 years.

Don is survived by his wife, Beverly; two daughters, Cynthia and her husband, Darrell Pearson and Barbara and her husband, Bradley Koch; one son, Richard Bradbury and his wife, Evelyne; five granddaughters; two grandsons; six great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Jr.; his parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
