SIOUX CITY -- Nancy J. (Keleher) Gusse, 71, of Sioux City passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at a local nursing home.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Erpelding officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Nancy, the daughter of Edward "Ted" and Mabel (Davis) Keleher, was born July 8, 1940, in Mapleton, Iowa.

She married Robert Sibert Sr. in 1957. She later married Harvey Gusse in 1982. Nancy spent most of her years in Sioux City but had been living in West Point, Neb., for the past 10 years.

Nancy enjoyed playing cards, cooking and crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a devoted care taker to her foster son for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Robert (Dianna) Sibert Jr. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Timothy (Karen) Sibert of South Sioux City; a daughter, Rhonda Boell of Omaha; a foster son, Jerry Stoddard of Sioux City; three brothers, Ronald (LaVonne) Keleher of Sioux City, Charles (Carol) Keleher of Sioux City and Paul Keleher of Sioux City; a sister, Beverly Salvatory of Sioux City; two sisters-in-law, Marialla Keleher of Lawton, Iowa, and Dorene Keleher of Sioux City; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey; and four brothers, Edward, Joseph, Wilbur, and Donald.
