SIOUX CITY -- Grace Maxine Dutton, 89, of Sioux City passed away Oct. 1, 2011, at Touchstone Nursing and Rehab Center in Sioux City.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.

Grace was born Jan. 9, 1922, in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Jesse Elmer and Orpha (Hartley) Larrew. She married Melvin C. Dutton on April 4, 1942 in Boone, Iowa.

Grace was a service technician for St. Luke's Hospital from 1965 to 1984.

Grace was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin "Bill" Dutton; three children, Kenneth Dutton of Little Canada, Minn., Chalice (James) Winkelman of Arcadia, Fla., and Melvin (Paula) Dutton Jr. of Duncanville, Texas; a brother, Clarence (Fran) Larrew of Montrose, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Janette Larrew of Spokane, Wash; and very special friends and caregivers, Don and Linda Wheat.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Susan; granddaughter, Amy Wilson; and three brothers, Robert, Leo and Lawrence.
