Mrs. Loyle Treiber, 64, of Danbury, died Monday, August 20, 1984, in a, Sioux City hospital.

Services were at 11:00 a.th., Wednesday, August 22, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Danbury. The Rev. Robert Thiele officiated. Burial was in the Danbury Catholic Cemetery. The rosary was recited at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, by the Rosary Society and at 8:00 p.m. by the parish in the Walter Funeral Home in Mapleton.

Mrs. Treiber, the former Francine Fitzpatrick, was born March 9, 1920, to John and Ethel (Towers) Fitzpatrick at Danbury and was a lifelong area resident. She attended St. Patrick's Academy in Danbury. She married Loyle "Bud" Treiber September 2, 1938, at Dakota City. They operated Bud's Place in Danbury for several years.

Mrs. Treiber was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Rosary Society of the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one grandchild.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Sheila) Kennaley of Irving, Texas, and Mrs. Mike (Carol) Mohrhauser of Council Bluffs; four brothers, Ronald of Pacoima, California, Norman of Waterloo, Daniel and Robert, both of Mapleton; one sister, Mrs. Carl (Bernice) Treiber of Danbury, and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tom Sexton, Tom McBride, Jack Colbert, Tom Schimmer, Paul Gahan and Tom Barry.
