10 January 2013SIOUX CITY | Luella Nyreen, 94, of Sioux City died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at a local hospital.
Private family graveside services will be held Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the dirction of Waterbury Funeral Services.
Luella was born Jan. 31, 1918, in Minnesota, the daughter of Clayton and Esther (Kistner) Marsh. She married Harvey Nyreen on Jan. 13, 1937, in Sioux City.
She worked several jobs until retirement. She enjoyed time with her family.
Survivors include a brother, Merle, and his wife, Grace Marsh, of Kansas; sister-in-law, Evelyn Marsh of Sioux City; sons, Larry and Duffy Nyreen and Darald Nyreen of Sioux City; daughter-in-law, Janice Nyreen; six grandchildren, Sandy, Craig, Brian, Diana, Tim and Tanya; several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Luella was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey; sister, Maxine; brother, Forrest; sister-in-law, Darlene; and her grandson, Ricky.
