Keith Earl Bunday, 73, of West Linn, Ore., formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Services were held Feb. 8, at Church of the Resurrection in Taulatin, Ore. Burial was in River View Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Tigard, Ore.
Mr. Bunday was born Nov. 19, 1927, in Ida Grove, Iowa, the son of Fred and Velma Bunday. He graduated from Sioux City Central High School. He served in the U.S. Navy in both World War II and the Korean War, where he received two medals.
He married Marjorie McAllister in 1949.
Following his discharge; he returned to Sioux City. He graduated from Morningside College in 1953. He was employed with the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen and Co. Because of his job, he lived in many communities in the United States and Europe. He retired as a partner in 1987, after 35 years. Following his retirement, he taught accounting at Lewis and Clark College.
He was a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, was a board member and treasurer of Willamette Valley Country Club, OMSI board member, co-chairman of the Oregon Region National Conference of Christians and Jews, Society of CPA's in six states, past president of Tam O'Shanter Golf Club in Bellevue, Wash., board member of International School in Brussels, Belgium and Oregon Senior Golf Association.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Dennis E., P. Kerry and Thomas; two daughters, Kimberly Malloney and Lisa Kawanesicyuga; a brother, Jerry Bunday; a sister, Hazel Twyford; and 13 grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Church of the Resurrection Building Fund, American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society - Colon Cancer Research.
