Funeral Services held Friday for Finn H. Florke
Funeral services for Finn H. Florke, 84, of Pierson who died Wednesday p.m. at at Sioux City hospital following a brief illness, were held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 30, 1965 at the Wilson-Hull Funeral Home in Correctionville.

Rev. Philip Kinton of Pierson Christian Church officiated and burial was in the Fairfield Cemetery at Rock Branch.

Mr. Florke was born in Germany January 23, 1881, coming to the United States with his mother and a brother when he was twelve years old. He married Dorthea Hopp August 26, 1914. The couple lived near Pierson. She died in 1942. He later married Susan Stearns who died in October 1961.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Weinreich of rural Correctionville, two grandsons and one great grandson.

Casketbearers were Messres. Lenard, Willie, Emil and Raymond Florke, Bill and Maynard Puttmann. Pianist was Mrs. Lawrence Camarigg
