DANBURY, Iowa — Edna Vera Oberreuter, 83, of Danbury died Thursday, August 17, 1995, at her home near Danbury.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Danbury with the Rev. David J. Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Danbury Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the church, with a 3:30 p.m. Rosary Society rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil wake service at the church. Walter-Armstrong Funeral Home of Danbury is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs.Oberreuter, the former Edna Pendelton, was born Oct. 27,1911, in Akron, Iowa, the daughter of Ed and Emma (Barmon) Pendelton. She married Ray Oberreuter Jan. 25, 1949 in Oto, Iowa. The couple farmed near Danbury.

Mrs. Oberreuter was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Rosary Society.

Survivors include her husband of Danbury; and a son, Tim of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
