28 November 2012Sharon K. Chase, 68, of Sioux City died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at her residence.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Waterbury Funeral Service, with the Rev. Jerry Gilbeath officiating. Burial will be in Dakota City Cemetery. Sharon was born on Dec. 17, 1943, in Sioux City, the daughter of Collier Chase Sr., and Mildred (Gallup) Chase. She graduated in 1962 from Central High School. Sharon was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. She worked for 15 years at Zenith, then for 28 years at Glazer’s Distributors.
Sharon is survived by her sister, Lorraine Krumwiede of South Sioux City; her brother, Norman Chase and his wife Donna of Salisbury, Md.; numerous nieces and nephews; and Janet Salyers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Kenneth, Byron and Collier Chase, Jr.; and three sisters, Melva Grenier, Evelyn Gill and, as an infant, Karen Chase.
