Randolph "Randy" Deal, 50, of Sioux City passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at his home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Alfred Gilpin Building in Macy, Neb., with Mr. Mitchell Parker in charge of the service. Interment will be in Omaha Tribal Cemetery. Visitation will begin today and will continue until service time Friday at Randy's home in Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender, Neb.

Randy was born on Feb. 4, 1962, in Homer, Neb., the son of Harvey Deal Jr. and Pauline (Grant) Deal. After graduation, he worked at a number of places as a chef, including many years in John Morrell Packing Plant Food Service.

He lived his life to the fullest, spending quality time with family and friends. He liked playing darts, pool, fishing and his Native American culture.

Randy is survived by a brother, Harvey (Lisa) Deal Jr. of Lafayettte, La.; sisters, Joyce Owens, Carmen, Charlene and Marilyn Deal, all of Terry, Miss.; uncles and aunts, Dale (Deb) Parker of McCook Lake, S.D., Richard (Joyce) Parker of San Diego, Calif., Jimi (Joyce) Grant of Sioux City, Tim (Pam) Grant, Kennard (Denine) Parker, Vivian Parker and Christine Miller, all of Macy; his adoptive mother, Betty Taylor of Wagner, S.D.; adoptive sisters, Michelle Horton of Omaha, Denise Saunsoci, Ann Kurtz, Rhonda Roullard and Jackie Ahlers, all of Sioux City, and Rhea Ashes of Sioux Falls, S.D.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; as well as many aunts and uncles.
