Scott H. Kistner, 56, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at his residence.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. The Rev. Steven L. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Scott was born on July 21, 1956, in Castro Valley, Calif., the son of Howard and Shirley (Lyle) Kistner. Scott came to Sioux City as a child and attended Sioux City schools. He graduated from North High School.

Scott worked with his father at the Kistner DX Service Station on West Eighth Street and then later for Charlie Miller Body Shop and Sioux Plating.

He enjoyed motorcycles, target shooting, watching movies and spending time on his computer.

Survivors included his uncle, Bill Lyle and his wife, Muriel, of Sioux City; his aunt, Mary Ferrari of Sioux City; several cousins; and many friends including Patrick Miller, Kurt Cooley, Bob Miller and Andy Keller.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Janet Lyle; and uncle, Max Lyle.

Pallbearers will be Tom Cameron, Tom Johnson, Paul Martindale, Mike Birdsell, Bob Miller and Dan Miller
