Tom A. Trobaugh of Mondovi, Wis., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at his residence.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Saturday at Church of Christ, 2111 West Sixth Street, Sioux City.
Tom was born June 25, 1945, in Sioux City, the son of Robert W. and Opal E. (Whitead) Trobaugh. He had lived in Prairie Township and attended Roosevelt School. He finished his education in Westfield, Iowa.
He married Sharon Overbeck in Wisconsin and she had been his constant companion for more than 30 years. He drove a semi-truck for many years. He also farmed and raised horses for many years.
He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; a daughter and her husband, Tammy and Chester Nelson; a son and his wife, Tom and Jamie Trobaugh; grandchildren, Brian and Tracy Trobaugh and Levi and Logan Trobaugh; two brothers and their wives, Mahlon and Kathy Trobaugh of Sioux City and Orvis and Connie Trobaugh of Sioux City; a brother-in-law, Carleton Monroe of Sheldon, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wanda; a sister, Veva Monroe; and a brother, Delbert Trobaugh.
