LAWTON, Iowa --- Lillian A. Olson, 86. of Lawton died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at her son's residence in Moville, Iowa, followiry a brief illness.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Lawton, with the Rev. Bruce Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at Earnest-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley. Iowa.

Mrs. Olson was born Feb. 18, 1913, in Sioux City, the daughter of Herman and Mary (Ewert) Hagernan. She was raised in the Sioux City area and attended rural school,

She married Walter C. Olson on May 21, 1928, in Sioux City. The couple farmed in the Lawton area for many years. where she was a homemaker. He died July 25, 1988.

She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and had been a member of the first confirmation class at Calvary Lutheran Church in Sioux City.

She enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Virgil and Sue of Moville; three daughters, Virginia and her husband, Doyle Smith of Lawton, Minnetta and her husband, Kenneth Schweitzberger of Kingsley and Marlis Friesner of Sioux City; a sister, Viola Junk of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren, Gary Smith, Valerie Unkrich, Gregory Smith, Roxann Haugen, Rhonda Roepke, Julie Davidson, Marlene Hughes, Mark Schweitzberger, Cynthia Ploen and Brian Friesner; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, William, Herman, Marvin and Everett Hageman; two sisters. Marie Zenor and Ida Farran; a son-in-law, Walter Friesner; and a great-granason.

Pallbearers will be Bernard Zenor, Darrell Hageman, LaMont Hageman, Larry Hinrichs, Walter Reinholdt and Sherman Wollesen.
