LAWTON, Iowa -- Minnie Viola Roeschke, 88, of Lawton died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Community Presbyterian Church in Lawton, with Dr. Robert E. Peters, pastor, and the Rev. Bruce Zellmer officiating. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery. Visitation will he from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the McCulloch Funeral Home of Moville, Iowa.

Mrs. Roeschke was born Dec. 27, 1908, in rural Moville, the daughter of John and Elfrieda (Hansen) Bush. She graduated from Lawton High School.

She married George Roeschke on Aug. 13, 1931, in Centerville, S.D. He died June 22, 1974, in Kingsley, Iowa.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Community Presbyterian
Church.

Survivors include two sons, Wesley and his wife, Donna, of Moville and Wendel of Bronson, Iowa; three daughters and their husbands, LaVonne and Edward Benning of Denver, Colo., JoAnn and Chet Alber of Bladen, Neb., and Joyce and Richard Baltz of Omaha; nine grandchildren; 10 step-grand children; four great-grandchildren; a sister and her husband, Joyce and Douglas Wurscher of Moville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond, and an infant sister, Dorothy.
