CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa — Mona Lou Keller, 74, of Correctionville died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at her home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Grace United Methodist Church in Correctionville. Burial will be at a later date in Correctionville Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Barker Funeral Home in Correctionville.

Mrs. Keller was born Dec. 7, 1923, in Butterfield, Minn., the daughter of David and Emma (Kintzi) Vogt. She moved with her family to Pierson, Iowa as a child. She graduated from Pierson High School 1941. She married Donald Keller Oct. 13, 1944, in Tucson, Ariz. The couple lived in Correctionville. She worked as a bookkeeper for Isbell and Warren Insurance Agencies for 28 years, retiring in 1984. She enjoyed playing cards and was involved as a local volunteer. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Legion Auxiliary, and UMW of the church.

Survivors include her husband; a son and his wife, Doug and Sue Keller of Indianola, Iowa; a daughter and her husband, Karla and Patrick O'Brien of Des Moines, Iowa; two brothers and their wives, David and Ruth Vogt of Scandia, Minn., and Roger and Karen Vogt of LaCrosse, Wisc.; two grandchildren, Erin Keller and Colin O'Brien; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
