LeRoy Rorke, 70, of North Sioux City died Monday, Dec. 30, 1996, at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. following a lenithy illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Barker Funeral Home in Correctionville, Iowa. Burial will be in Correctionville Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 915 and the American Legion Post 134 of Elk Point, S.D. and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7690 of North Sioux City.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today, with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Florke was born Aug. 15, 1926. He married Lois Foster in 1948. The couple lived in Correctionville. He served in the military.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Steve, Stan and his wife Linda; Ron and his wife Pam, and Randy; four daughters, Virginia Waugh, Mary Cantrell, Barb and her husband Steve Terrell, and Aleas and her husband Clyde Erie; 26 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marcella Daily of Reedsport, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his parents;, three brothers; and a sister.
