Lee Leonard Pry, 75, of Correctionville died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Church of Christ in Correctionville, with the Rev. Elmer Hodge officiating. Burial will be in Willow Township Cemetery at Holly Springs, Iowa, with military rites conducted by the American Legion Mumford-Moon Post 79 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Monahan Post 1750, all of Correctionville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Barker Funeral Home in Correctionville.

Mr. Pry was born May 30, 1922, in Bronson, Iowa, the son of Allen Jackson and Mary Luella (Graham) Pry. He attended school up to the eighth grade. He served in the Armed Forces during World War II stationed in Germeny and France.

He married Betty June Bruner on Feb. 8, 1942, in Sioux City. The couple moved to a farm near Correctionville in 1962 where he farmed until retiring. In 1989 they moved into Correctionville.

He was a member of Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; six sons, Allen and his wife Mary of Lawton, Iowa, William and his wife Denise of Milford, Iowa, Roger and his wife Melinda and Kelly and his wife Jenice, all of Bronson, Daniel and his wife Rebecca of Austin, Texas and Keith of Correctionville; four daughters, Joanne Peters of Omaha, Neb., Susan and her husband Jim Vetzani of LaVista, Neb., DeAnna and her husband Mark Struck of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Roxanne and her husband Christopher Augeri of LaVista, Neb.; 28 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Cliff of Sioux City and Kenneth and his wife Delores of Commerce City, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kenneth; a daughter, Louella Pry; a grandson, Kevin Pry; a brother, Glen; and three sisters, Violet Clark, Rosie Tipton and Alice "Dolly" Davis.
