Luella "Lou" Catherine Anderson, 79, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011, in Phoenix.

Services were held in Phoenix. Arrangements were under the direction of Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary.

Survivors include sons, Jerry (Shawn) Sandberg of Ponca, Neb., and James Sandberg of Phoenix; stepsons, Kevin (Linda) Anderson of Sioux City, Kelly (Carrie) Anderson of Grapevine, Texas, and Kirk Anderson of Olathe, Kan.; a stepdaughter, Debbie (Paul) D'Ascenzo of Sioux City; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Johnny Hartnett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith E. Anderson.

We will remember her with love.
