Darlene L. Renn, 70, of Lincoln, Neb., formerly of Sioux City, died Thursday, July 28, 2011.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sheridan Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with Pastor Greg Bouvier officiating. Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 O St., Lincoln. Visitation will resume one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Darlene was born Oct. 2, 1940, to Ned and Elsie (Roberson) Sadler. She graduated from Sioux City East High School.

She retired in 2004 as an office clerk from Nebraska Trucking Company. She was formerly employed at U.S. Bank.

She was a member of Sheridan Lutheran Church since 1976. Darlene loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends.

Survivors include three sons, Jeff (Stephanni) Renn of Crete, Neb., Mike (Melissa) Renn of Lincoln and Greg (Teresa) Renn of Bemidji, Minn.; a daughter, Cindy (Dean) Hoehne of Lincoln; grandchildren, James and Sarah Hoehne, Madison and Max Renn, all of Lincoln, Nick and Julia Renn, Mitchell, Bayli and Lesli Kratchovil, all of Crete, Miciah, Anna, Levi, Isabel and Mia Renn, all of Bemidji; and a sister, Phyllis Jones of Lavernia, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John.
