Rocio Morelos, 15, of Sioux City passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, in Sioux City.

Services will be 10 a.m. today at Cathedral of the Epiphany. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Rocio Morelos was born on Nov. 30, 1996, in Sioux City, the daughter of Enedina Joaquin and Rodolfo Morelos. She went to school at West High and was in her freshman year. Her favorite sport was soccer.

She had a outgoing personality. She loved to laugh and always had a smile on her face. Her favorite color was purple. Rocio loved her dog, Princess. She always showed love to her loved ones, especially her nieces and nephews, sisters, and mom and dad. She loved to go to movies and hang out with her friends. She was a caring person. She will always be remembered by her family and friends. Rocio will always be in our hearts looking down on us.

Rocio is survived by her parents, Enedina Joaquin and Rodolfo Morelos; her sisters, Esmeralda Sanchez and Erika Morelos; her four nieces, Jaqueline, Joanna, Joselyn Sanchez and Naya Macias; and one nephew, Jayden Macias.
