Janice Alvano Holton, 57, of Martinez, Ga., formerly of Sioux City, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Feb. 29, in Soperton, Ga. An online register book may be signed at www.sammonsfuneralhome.com.

Jan was born in Sioux City on Feb. 5, 1955, and lived in Martinez for the past 29 years.

Survivors include her husband, Lacey Holton; two sisters, Jean (Patrick) Pope of Bossier City, La., and Patsy (Dick) Kripps of St. Louis Park, Minn.; three brothers, Tim Alvano of Sioux City, Carl (Joyce) Alvano of Shawnee, Kan., and Mike (Chris) Alvano of Omaha, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Dee Alvano.
