Terry Heinse, 36, of Anthon died unexpectedly, Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at a Sioux City hospital after being stricken at home.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at Anthon United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Karen Handke officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, at Midway, rural Battle Creek, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Armstrong Funeral Home in Anthon. Online condolences can be directed to the family and the obituary can be found at www.armstrongfuneral.com.

Terrence Michael Heinse was born on Nov. 19, 1975, in Sioux City, the son of Kevin Heinse and Norma (Ankrum) Heinse Brasel. He grew up in the Anthon area and graduated from River Valley High School in Correctionville, Iowa, with the class of 1995.

He served his country in the Army Reserves for three years. Terry worked at various jobs over the years and was currently employed the last five years at AGP in Salix, Iowa.

Terry enjoyed playing video games, golfing, darts, and playing pool. He was a real country man at heart.

Survivors include a son, Tyler Ray Black of Anthon; a daughter, Michele Lynn Heinse of Holstein, Iowa; his parents, Kevin Heinse and his wife, Diane, of Anthon and Norma Brasel and her husband, Bill of Anthon; his sisters, JoLynn Huffman and her husband, Clark, of Anthon and Nikki Heinse and Nathanial Beers of Sioux City; his fiancee, Dana Brasel of Anthon; a niece, Alexis Poppens; a nephew, Lathaen Heinse; several step siblings; and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Terry was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Wilma Heinse; and his maternal grandparents, Wilbur and Rosemary Ankrum.
