SALIX, Iowa — Edna Pepin, 88, of Salix died Wednesday, June 12, 1996, at the home of her son' in Salix.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salix with the Rev. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will he in St. Joseph Cemeter. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, with a rosary service at 7 p.m.followed by a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m. at the church. Wood Funeral Home of Sloan is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Pepin was born Jan. 15, 1908, in Salix, the daughter of Michael and Grace (Shelton) Mulvihill. She received her education at St. Joseph School in Salix and was a lifelong resident of Salix.

She married Hubert Pepon April 8, 1942 in Salix. He died: June 19, 1981, in Sioux City, She was a bookkeeper for River Tug Boats, retiring in 1978.

Mrs. Pepin was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons an their wives Alfred and Kaye of Gardner, Kan., and Hubert and Debbie of Salix, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brother and four sisters.
