Margaret (Maggie) Nelson Richarz, 58, Presco,tt, Ariz., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 in a Prescott hospital.

Services were held July 24 in Prescott. Arrangements were under the direction of Heritage Memory Mortuary in Prescott.

Born in Sioux City to Robert and Alice Richarz, Margaret graduated from East High School, going on to receive her nursing degree from the Methodist Hospital.

Maggie moved to Prescott in the early 1980s with her son, Kyle. As a registered nurse she worked at Yavapai Regional Medical Center and for the past two decades at the Northern Arizona veterans hospital.

Survivors include her son, Kyle, of Portland, Ore.; her mother, Alice Richarz, of Prescott; one brother, Bob; three sisters, Lynn, Kay, and Tracy; and her brothers-in-law, Darrell, Greg and Mike; her nephews, niece, cousins; and her Aunt Eleanor Beacom, of Sioux City.
