Jana Elizabeth (Mullen) Allen, 72, formerly of Sioux City passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2012.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Basil's Catholic Church, 1230 Nebraska St., in Vallejo, Calif. Inurnment will be private at All Souls Catholic Cemetery in Vallejo. Jana, one of six children, was born on May 16, 1939, to Albert and Doris Mullen in Sioux City. She was a 1957 graduate of Heelan High School in Sioux City and had lived in Vallejo the past 45 years. She was a telecommunications manager for Pacific Bell for 27 years and retired in 1984.

Jana was a member of St. Basil's Church Ladies Altar Society and the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include her daughters, Kimette Wrigley and Jane (Gabe) Jackson; stepdaughter, Anne Marie Redmond; sons, William and Patrick Wrigley; stepsons, Thomas Allen, John Allen and William Allen Jr.; sister, Kathleen (Edward) Heutinck; brothers, Michael, Thomas (Donna) and John (Pam) Mullen; and grandchildren, Kyle Wrigley, Henry Jackson, Tyson Allen, Drew Allen and Lisa (Ben) Manley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; and sister, Barbara Barber.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the Hanna Boys Center, The Salvation Army or Veterans of Foreign Wars.
