SIOUX CITY -- Linda K. Comer, 66, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012, at her residence.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with Karl Luther as officiant. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Linda was born on April 11, 1945, in Sioux City, to Harold and Irene (Severson) Lyle. She received her education in Sioux City, graduating from Central High School with the class of 1963.

She married Keith "Kip" Comer on Feb. 3, 1967, in Sioux City. Linda worked in the banking industry and retired from the Sioux City Public Schools in 1999.

She loved spending time with family, especially with her five grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her sons, Scott Comer and his wife, Vicki of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jason Comer of Sioux City; father, Harold Lyle of Sioux Falls, S.D.; sisters, Sharran Ferleman of Medina, Tenn., and Susan Teel and her husband, Mike of Hornick, Iowa; and five grandchildren, Justin, Emily, Alyssa, Jasun, and Alex.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother; and husband, Kip.
