BYRON L. AVERY

Byron L. Avery, 69, well known Sioux City lodge worker and former employee of Fairmont Creamery Co., died Monday at the home of a son, Leonard, in Chicago.

Mr. Avery was a member of the Moose Lodge here and of Columbia lodge 13, Knights of Pythias.

Survivors include his widow, May: four sons, Milton, Noel and Charles all of Sioux City, and Leonard of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Nettie Montagne and Mrs. Gertrude Rue, both of Sioux City; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah McArthur and Mrs. Grace Thomas, both of Des Moines, and Mrs. Henry Haley of Hot Springs, S. D., and six grandchildren.

The body is expected to arrive at the Anderson funeral home today.
